The Science Behind the Recordings: Each song features an acoustic guitar that was played and recorded with Silsesquioxane Surface Treated Titanium Acoustic Guitar StringsTM (U. S. Patent 7,476,791). A lot of “love” went into the development and manufacture of these strings – together with plenty of materials chemistry and engineering. The set used in these recordings was designed to provide a balance between longevity and sound quality while maintaining a mechanical response conducive to finger-style playing. The patented product is available at www.rohrtech.com.

My Titanium Six
"My Titanium Six" is a compilation of the first recordings ever made with titanium acoustic guitar strings. In fact, "Starlite MacPark," an original Tony Parker instrumental piece, is the very first song ever recorded with a complete prototype set of titanium strings (you can hear a sound clip of this song at www.rohrtech.com). This album is available for purchase at CDBABY.COM.

A SONG FOR EVERY
No One Knows What Love Is
Toledo Blade reviewer Richard Paton calls A Song for Every Season an "understated collection... the disc benefits from some stylistic diversity, from the folk influence heard on 'Goodbye' to the attractive ballad 'Our Love Will Find A Way,' and moody instrumental 'Prelude.'" Today's Collegian calls it "...a refreshing collection of different styles of music." Toledo City Paper reviewer Steve Athanas notes that "Parker achieves the most in the simple melodic 'Goodbye'... Beatles-ish 'Our Love Will Find a Way,' 'Pacific Ocean,' and the title track."

JAZZ CD TO BENEFIT MOTHERS AGAINST DRUNK DRIVING (MADD)
"The Bill Jenkins Trio," a collection of jazz guitar arrangements, recorded and performed by the late Mr. Bill Jenkins, was released to the public in October 2000 by the independent label, Starlite MacPark of Newtown, PA for retail distribution in the Philadelphia, PA and Akron, Ohio regions. Proceeds from CD sales will go to Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD); an organization dedicated to the prevention of drunk driving, to the support of crime victims, and to the prevention of underage drinking.
The recording was made in Akron, OH during the summer of 1969, only a few months before Mr. Jenkins was tragically killed in a car accident. After thirty years, the re-discovered original has been digitally restored and remastered by Tony Parker, Starlite MacPark Producer, and Dave Mariasy of Audiomatrix Studios in Toledo, OH.
The CD features Bill Jenkins on guitar, whose style has been frequently compared to that of the late guitar-great, Wes Montgomery, together with surviving "Trio" members Pat Palmer on keyboards, and Rick Hanger on drums. The final track features "Bill's Song," an original guitar instrumental which has been composed and performed by Tony Parker in honor of Bill's memory. The cover art, by Angela and Nick Parker, conveys the colorful atmosphere of the 60's, and portrays the image of urban jazz performed in that era.
The CD is available at several locations in the Akron area including local Border's Books, Digital Daze, Ross Music, and Henry's Music, and in the Philadelphia area in select locations including Barnes & Noble at Oxford Valley, and the Newtown Book and Record Exchange.
